Knox Co. students learn to make healthy dish at community farm
Health

Hundreds of Knox County students learned hands-on about healthy living on Wednesday. More than 500 fourth and fifth graders spent the morning at Beardsley Community Farm.

Tupelo Honey Cafe, which opened on Market Square earlier this week, sponsored the farm field trip. It kicks off the restaurant's partnership with Knox County Schools.

Tupelo Honey's executive chef and Knox County Schools' chef showed the kids how to prepare a cheesy smashed cauliflower.

Later this year, that dish will be served at lunch times in Knox County schools.
