Flip Flop Consignment focuses on adults, not kids

Flip Flop Consignment focuses on adults, not kids

Bargain hunters are gearing up for a week of consignment sales in Knoxville, but this consignment is for grown-ups.

People lined up Wednesday morning, ready for the start of the Flip Flop Consignment.

A lot of consignments focus on children's items, but this is one of the few that focuses on clothes and other products for adults.
The owner holds the event twice a year.

She says it is a lot of work, and it is worth it.

KPD hosting Bike Safety Fair this weekend

From the Knoxville Police Department:

Fall is a wonderful time of year to go bicycling.  The Knoxville Police Department wants all cyclists, particularly children, to stay safe while enjoying this sport.  That's why we (KPD) are conducting our annual fall Safety Fair at Safety City on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Families are encouraged to come out to learn about pedestrian and bicycle safety.
