Crews took four students to the hospital after a bus crashed in north Knox County on Monday morning.

Knox County deputies said a Halls High School student was traveling south on Scenic View Drive lost control of his car and crashed head-on into a school bus at 8:30 a.m. The bus 5 was headed to Ridgedale School, according to Knox County Schools.

Deputies said three children on the bus suffered minor injuries. Crews also took two adults aboard the bus and the Halls High School student to the hospital.

Officials said the 17-year-old driver was rounding a curve and lost control. He wasn't wearing a seat belt at the time. Officers said the Halls High School student won't face any charges.
